2018 Scholarship for Region XI

The Region 12 Arabian Horse Association, Inc.'s 2018 Scholarship is now available! Region XII will offer three scholarships: one for $3000, one for $2000, and one for $1000 to three graduating high school seniors to further their educational studies. See attached application. Deadline for submission of application is April 10, 2018. Please contact Kelli Bennett at 803.429.1931 or email threeoaksarabian@aol.com with questions.   Also, available for our GAHA youth is the Arabian Horse Foundation Scholarship. Deadline for submission of application is April 1, 2018.

GAHA will have a table again this year at the Region 12 Arabian and Half Arabian Championships in Perry, GA, May 7-12 (next to Markel's table in both arenas) where GAHA invites everyone to come decorate and write messages for our our Georgia service men and woman stationed abroad. All are welcome to participate to show their appreciation to these brave men and women who sacrifice so much to keep us safe.  Interested in volunteering at the GAHA table? GAHA is happy to be supporting the Region 12 Youth Jamboree again this year! The 30th Anniversary of the Region 12 Youth Jamboree will be July 11-15th in Clemson, SC. It consists of 3 days of FREE clinics for YOUTH of all breeds, disciplines, and levels with 2 days of show at the end. We are sponsoring T-shirts with the Magnolia Arabian Horse Association. Every January we gather and celebrate our members and present them with the awards, ribbons and trophies they’ve worked toward throughout the year.  Whether you ride in recognized shows or open/schooling shows, there is something for everyone.

NEW for 2018 is our Frequent Rider Program - The Frequent Rider Program (FRP)  awards riders for every hour that they spend riding or driving an Arabian or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian horse in non-competitive activities. YOUTH get rewarded for your hours in the saddle - whether for lessons, training, trail riding, or riding for fun!Please email GAHAFRP@gmail.com with any questions!
